Lights twinkle on the Hamilton Harbour and inside the white tents, where laughing crowds circle around casino dealers, placing their bets and clutching their cocktails. They saunter away to have a whirl on the dance floor, over to the oyster bar, or to say hi to a friend they haven't seen in a while...everyone is here. It's the second annual Raleigh Bermuda Monte Carlo Casino Classic - the most exciting fundraising event on the Bermudian calendar... Tickets immediately available at www.ptix.bm or soon at Flowers By GiMi on Front Street!

Intentions of the residential: 1. Challenge the Venturers physically, mentally, emotionally and artistically 2. Allow an effective selection to take place 3. Give some training and preparation for the Island Adventure Camp This residential provides participants with the opportunity to meet each other and to be introduced to elements of experiential learning. Through several group activities, you are able to better understand the role you play within a group and adapt if necessary. Using reflection exercises, you also begin to trust each other as you learn more about yourself. Boat Pick Up from Albuoy's Point at 9.00 a.m.

This swim assessment is to ascertain the swimming ability and suitability for our expedition countries. In some countries, Venturers may have to cross water which is deep and fast flowing with dangerous currents. It is essential that if they find themselves in danger in the water, they have the ability to swim to safety or support themselves until help arrives. THIS EVENT IS FOR 2015 VENTURERS AND STAFF ONLY!!!

This residential training camp is designed to be a mini-version of the Adventure phase participants will experience on expedition. Thus, it is quite challenging and teaches you skills in outdoor survival, team-building, and leadership. This is our most intensive local programme component, and so requires lots of preparation and support. The boat leaves for Paget Island from Market Wharf in St. George's at 10.00 a.m.
